Students are leading the way on massive nation-wide #ClimateStrikes on September 20, and this time they're calling on everyone to join them.

Help make the #ClimateStrikes huge by joining this outreach event!

Cars will line the highway into town for 3 blocks close to where the main strike venue, Victoria Park is located. Participating cars will exhibit a cloth "Climate Change Action" banner. They will be parked legally. It is not illegal for cars to carry a sign.

Collect your banner at the coordination point, Elston Park, Cobra St, anytime from 7:30 a.m. You can park and leave your car for as long as you can manage. Even 1 hour would be great. Drivers will be on hand if you need to be driven/ collected somewhere in town. The parked cars will not be left un-monitored at any time.

This event is intended to be a support-promotion for the main School Global Strike event at Victoria Park 9 am -11 am.

Please let me know if you can supply a car. I hope to have 20 banners (differing messages) ready.
